Had a holiday with 4 other families at low costa mill cottages and really enjoyed the cottages and the kids were in the pool constantly, had plenty of days out to the moors and the coast. Overall a great holiday and are definitely going to come back.

Ok where to begin, we (myself, husband and 3 boys) stayed for a week over Easter. In fact as I write we are soaking up the beautiful Yorkshire sunshine in our cottage garden!! We have been in Harvester cottage, which is spot on for a family of 5, comprising 3 bedrooms, a downstairs toilet, shower and sink, large living area and very well equips kitchen. Just also make mention of the open log fire in the living room, which with logs and kindling provided is a lovely addition at night. Another plus point for me is the dishwasher which is better than mine at home!! In addition there is a laundry room.on the site which is v handy with the boys, and the washing machines are free with a small charge for dryer. WiFi never missed a beat nice quick connection. Location is beyond description it's beautiful, peaceful.and immaculately maintained with tons to keep kids busy!!! A stream for pooh sticks, animals and a large play area plus woods to walk in. Next bonus is the fantastic heated indoor pool, it's so good for kids to splash about but also big enough for adults to have a decent swim. To conclude my review, I cannot reccomed this gem of a place enough, please give it a go if you are after a relaxing break in a location which is brilliant. The owners are lovely and v friendly always there to help or advise.

We have spent a weekend here and stayed in farriers cottage, we are a couple with a 14 month old baby and found it brilliant. There is a large outdoor play area and indoor swimming pool, our little boy loved it. Everything we needed in the cottage, Travel cot and highchair was ready and waiting for us on arrival, even plastic plates and bowls for our little boy, so thoughtful!! Around 5 mins by car into the centre of Pickering and we even got to see the flying Scotsman this weekend :) We will be returning hopefully this summer if there are vacancies!!

We stayed as a large family group of 20 staying in three cottages for a 50th birthday celebration. We had a wonderful time the accommodation was lovely very high standard with gorgeous open fires in all cottages. The swimming pool is a great bonus and lovely and warm on a cold January day. The owners are very accommodating, even bringing us an extra table and crockery so the whole family could get together in heron view the largest cottage for our birthday celebration. We have stayed here several times and have particularly noticed the improvements each visit to maintaining the high standards of accommodation. We will definitely be returning again in fact my son and family have already booked to go back in March with friends :)

This weekend we are having our 3rd stay in 3 months, it's that great. If you want to be indoors, outdoors, walking, running, swimming, playing, or just sat watching others get busy, this is the place. We always stay in Thresher cottage as it is the closest to the pool and suits our needs perfectly. I have mobility problems but this cottage is close enough that I can manage without walking sticks most of the time. There genuinely is no reason not to come. Why pay in excess of £100 a night for a bog standard hotel room when you can have so much more here?!? Literally crazy not to.
