“Comfortable, spacious, conveniently located holiday house.”
Reviewed 22 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

I needed somewhere convenient to Stirling University for a weekend conference which would also be suitable for a family holiday with my husband and son. This property fitted the bill perfectly as it was only a ten minute walk through the university grounds to the conference centre. It was also ideally located for the Wallace Monument which is situated just behind the property within easy walking distance. There is also easy access to buses into Stirling if you don't want to drive there.
The property itself was well fitted with nearly everything you could need (no weighing scales or colander, which did make cooking pasta a little difficult).
We especially appreciated having a separate shower room as well as the bathroom, as this gave our son his own washing facilities, leaving the bathroom for me and my husband, The only real downside for me was the shallowness of the wash basin in the bathroom, otherwise everything else was excellent.

“Perfect home away from home”
Reviewed 15 September 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Great location (out of the hustle and bustle), easily accessible (for travel throughout central Scotland), clean, & comfortable! It was the perfect home away from home. Highly recommend this property.

“Wallace's Rest”
Reviewed 15 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

We stayed here in August 2017 and what a little gem this house was. It was perfect for what we needed. The house was immaculate and had absolutely everything we could have needed. We loved it and wish we could have stayed longer. It was the perfect base for Edinburgh and Glasgow and we would definitely book this accommodation again in the future.
