This is a bit of an odd place, feels like the hotel portion of the facility is secondary as an event location and drinking place for large groups. Location is close to DT core and castle walk but also hard by a large roundabout and surrounded by busy roads. Good room, was bit a run down, good parking, and very nice people providing good service but didn't seem like the hotel guests were the priority.

Over night stay for first time at the Hotel ,very pleasant Hotel ,nice room ,spotless bedding ,large bathroom and some nice touches to .Pleasant staff ,Breakfast was disappointing ,buffet table was very minimal ,the wait for the cooked breakfast was over half hour due to waitress having to multitask several jobs on her own .Really need more staff on floor at a busy time .

We decided to spend a couple of nights in Stirling at the beginning of April and chose this hotel because of its handy location.

Overall it was a very good experience. For me, the highlights were the staff who were all very friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself looks good, is clean and is well looked after. As for food, I've got strict dietary requirements so my only option for breakfast was salmon and eggs but that was tasty. We had one dinner there, it was a Sunday and they only had one set dinner, but they were ok with us only taking one course. Price wise that did not work out in our favour as it was more expensive to have one main than the overall 3 course set dinner but that's the way it is!
For 90£ a night, I would have expected to have our tea/coffee/water replenished on the second day, but that was probably an oversight.

The hotel has a good location: the city centre is a few minutes walk away and there is a Waitrose down the road, we could actually see it from our bedroom window!

Overall, this is a good to very good hotel and I would stay there again, although I probably would not eat there again as there are many restaurants nearby.

This hotel really exceeded our expectations, even though it is a small hotel, Car parking was private and free, the room was tastefully decorated, loved the comfortable bed and clean toilet. Everything was clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant downstairs serves top quality, locally sourced food. Breakfast was really amazing, i had the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. I wish i had stayed a few more days in Stirling rather than in Edinburgh.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that not facing the Gym
