Visited as a larger group celebrating multiple Birthdays. I arrived early and went to my table. After a few mins, a member of staff offered to get a drink for me from the bar.

I have not eaten here before, but was told by others who had, that the crispy chilli beef with noodles was a good choice. They were not wrong. Three of us on our table chose
this, and we were all impressed. It was a large portion for a small plate. We did have cheesy garlic bread to share as a start.

My main course was surf and turf with plain chunky chips. The fillet steak was so tender and flavoursome. The battered king prawns were very moreish too. The chunky chips were as fat as they were wide.

We were all very pleased with our selections and all enjoyed our evening here. Will definitely eat here again.

This place is a gem, the service was very good and the food was wonderful. The lamb was cooked to perfection, it was the best roast lamb dinner I have had for a long time. It is only a small place and I would recommend booking a table to avoid disappointment.

I have been here several times now and not a single complaint!

The second you walk in you feel at home, it’s cosy, stylish and warm inside instantly putting you at ease, then you are treated to comfy relaxing chairs/benches covered with cushions.

It has a small but varied wine list with wonderful quality wines to cover all tastes without overwhelming you with choice,

The food is amazing, small plates which are perfect when you fancy a bit of everything, but don’t be fooled they are not that small so don’t over order as you can add more plates on as you go. Personally I love the surf and turf, sea bass and the recently added pizettes. Also they do the best sweet potato fries around! Don’t forget to have the arancini and crostinis while you wait they are gorgeous whilst you peruse the menu.

The drinks on offer if you don’t fancy wine offer a good choice of Gins and cocktails. I love the gin boards and the porn star martinis.

To top it off the staff are exceptional - friendly, welcoming, attentive and knowledgable. They are an asset to the restaurant.

If you just fancy a drink there is a snug upstairs that is cosy and intimate.

I can’t recommend the place enough!

Fabulous and innovative. English Tapas? With so many small plates to choose from I defy anyone to loose the ability to speak - words aren't adequate to descibe how tasty the food is.
Having seen some of the reviews (a year old?) I was cautious but shouldn't have been. Just about perfect. Service, spot on - You should go,
