My husband and I stayed at this hotel with other members of our family for a 50th birthday. The hotel staff are very pleasent and helpful. The bar is good fun when there is a good crowd ( although it gets quite busy on happy hour) and the hotel puts on different entertainment nightly. The furniture and decor in the lounge and guest rooms is very old and quite scruffy. Our bathroom was so small you couldnt turn around and it wasnt the cleanest I'd used! The breakfast was really nice and you had plenty of it. All in all I would go back to this hotel, mainly beacause of the location, the friendliness of the staff and the price!

Room Tip: If you dont like your room, tell reception and if they can they will change you.

We have just returned from a weekend here at this hotel and we had a fantastic time we were a family of four a 9 and 3 yr old, the hotel was really clean and the staff were really friendly they couldn't do enough for you.

Even better was the free bar at 8 -9 and we were lucky enough to drop on a weekend when the happy hour was all day on both the saturday and sunday.

The rooms were really nice we had a bit of a sea view even though we didn't ask for one, it was lovely. They were nice and clean and spacious enough.

The hotel is dog friendly and they have a lovely beer garden in the back where you can take the dogs and have a drink.

The breakfast was lovely you can have a starter first, and the cerals were nice they tasted like the proper kellogs brands not the cheap ones, tea coffee fruit juices, you can have a full english or you could have egg on toast (poached, scrambled or fried).

I can't comment on the evening meal as we didn't eat there in the evenings we ventured out to have a chinese and indian, although the meals did smell lovely in the evening as we were passing through.

They have a games room too which is quite hidden you have to access it via the lift and press -1 and then that takes you there.

We will definatly go back again next year. A big thank you to all the staff for making the holiday so enjoyable.

Staff friendly enough only saw a couple of them, room was clean but old and tired, black mould in dated bath room, chip bored doors and WALLS the man next door kept us awake snoring like a wart hog!! It was 100 for the night for no sleep tho had a sea view. would not recommend at all. Hallways smell awful. Lots of old people seem to love it here.
