“A lovely weekend.”

Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend, the Cornstore was lovely. Everything that we needed for the weekend was there, and we had a great time. There were 6 of us, and some of the party used the swimming pool - which was lovely. We all got a taxi into Tenby during the evening, and had a good night out in the local pubs. Also enjoyed walking in the local area around the holiday let.

“Would greatly improve with some upgrading and TLC”

Positives - lovely area/ scenery, should be ideal for families with children. Nice touches with washer/ dryer and dish washer also equipment for the tennis court and games room. Pool was great for us and we made good use of it. Kitchen well equipped.

Negatives - the grassy play area is where dogs are allowed to foul and my granddaughter's trousers were soiled. Crazy golf is unusable and needs replacing. Games room dirty and dingy. Public pathway cracked and raised - a safety issue.
Unclear which washing lines were for visitor use, we caught the cleaner removing ours ready to send to Haverford West office (it had only been out for 3 hours). Also unclear which picnic benches we could use as some were on rental gardens.
Cottage generally clean but thick dust and debris under couches and behind bedding, mould in bathroom and shower difficult to use. Also we had to throw food out as the fridge not reliable. Needs upgrading and TLC which if done would tempt us back.

“Great little holiday cottage”

Stella kindly rented her little holiday cottage in Tenby to us for a long weekend in May.
Our family of 6 needed somewhere to stay near Tenby for a family wedding and the Cornstore was the perfect place, being less than 10 minutes drive away. The kitchen has everything you could need, and there were other thoughtful items at the house, including biscuits, tea bags , fresh milk, shampoo and conditioner, towels, iron and ironing board. The shower had good pressure and ran hot (always important to our family!) and we had no issues. We also managed to make quick use of the gym and pool.
100% recommend the Cornstore and thanks again to Stella for making it such an enjoyable stay.

“Plenty to see and do for all ages close to lots of activities .”
Reviewed 10 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Local pub is lovely but make sure you book it can get very busy.
This cottage was great for all our family, teenagers and a three year old. There was plenty to see and do even on cold and wet days. We would book again. The cottages could do with a coat of paint but don't let that put you off.

“It was ok. House needs updating especially bathroom”

We paid a reasonable price for the short time we spent at the property. The property is located outside a quiet village, part of a selection of purposely built holiday properties. The location is quiet and nicely located to various attractions to get the kids interested. The swimming pool and amusements to which the property has access are quite frankly rubbish. BUT as we did have a look round then came to the conclusion that are stay was not based on the amusements but on the wider location of Tenby and surrounding area. We used the property as a base to visit the surrounding area. There are many coastal towns to visit and enjoy. As far as food is concerned these are loads of places within a short drive. Supermarket and general stores not too far away too. All in all if you are coming to relax at the property and sit next to the pool then it may be a mistake. If you are coming to visit the area and use the property as a base then absolutely perfect.
