We attended a wedding at the Tunnel beaches, which is a 10 minute walk from Woodlands an old Victorian villa style property, and is without doubt one of the nicest B&Bs we have stayed in. Our room no. 8 was lovely, so clean and bright and airey, with a lovely balcony with views over the gardens, you are quite elevated, and on a clear day can see for miles. The bed linen was quality cotton and nice white fluffy towels. The owners could not do enough for you, the breakfast was superb, with a good choice from the menu. tea and coffee making in the room, and you popped to the dining room and helped yourself to fresh milk from the fridge. Would 100% use again if in the area.

Room Tip: We had room 8, with a balcony and lovely views.

We just wanted a couple of days to get away from the rat race, and chose Woodlands due to price and location. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre, great if you want a bit of peace and quiet during the peak season but not too far to walk into town. It is a great little B & B, situated a 10 minute walk from the centre of Ilfracombe. The rooms looked like they had been recently redecorated and were clean and tidy. Our hosts were friendly and cooked a breakfast that saw us through the day.
A good tip is not to drive into the carpark, reverse in or you will struggle to get out.
The acid test is whether we would stay there again. Yes, we would, definitely.

What a lovely B & B. Very friendly hosts, most welcoming. Our room, no.2, has a lovely little balcony with a couple of chairs and a small table. Lovely to listen to birdsong and a stream at the bottom of the garden. All the rooms we saw had been freshly and tastefully decorated. We only stayed for 2 nights which really wasn't long enough. There is a good breakfast menu, all freshly cooked to order. One of the nice touches was fresh milk in the dining room fridge which you could help yourself to for your room drink making facilities. Much nicer than little pots of uht milk. The walk from the hotel to the harbour takes about 20 minutes. There is a hill, but it's not too steep. Would very happily stay there again.

Room Tip: Room 2 was on the ground floor, no steps right next to the dining room, but still quiet. Narrow but nice ensuite, good size shower.

We loved our stay at Woodlands, room was lovely, bed really comfy! Breakfast was ok. We parked on the road outside with no issues. Be prepared to walk up and down lots of hills when staying in Ilfracombe but it's a lovely place! Would stay here again for sure!

I just wish that we had had more time to spend at The Woodlands. The Guest House is exquisite with impeccable furnishings, comfy beds, lovely breakfast area overlooking the garden, the best coffee since leaving home and a fantastic breakfast. The proprietors are friendly, informative and willing to help us haul our cases upstairs. We were 6 women in 4 rooms and all of us experienced nothing but the best. A definite must stay.

Room Tip: Can't go wrong with any of them.
