Stayed for four nights at the start of July.
Brenda and Stewart were very welcoming to us and were always available if we had any questions.
The chalet was very clean, cosy and had everything we needed for self-catering!
The location was great - only a ten minute walk from Kingussie station, ideal if you are travelling without a car like we were.
A bit of a squeeze for four 20 year olds so would probably recommend for a smaller group.
Overall a lovely stay!
We arrived very late after a long drive up from East Anglia to get in some hill training ready for our End to End cycle and was made to feel very welcome by the lovely Brenda. Fantastic base for exploring the local area - albeit as the weather was so beautiful we headed over to Fort William to climb up the Ben on the first day! A car is recommended, but that wont come as a surprise in the Highlands.
Whilst I can't promise you will have 25+ degree temperatures as we did, there is no doubt you will find the accommodation to be clean, well presented and very relaxing for a short break. Great value for money.
Thanks again a lovely break!

We had a wonderful time in this lovely chalet. It was very cosy, clean and close to many interesting spots in the region. Brenda and Stewart are absolutely fantastic hosts and very helpful. Highly recommended!
Had a wonderful few days here with our two year old. Chalet was perfect for our needs and close to all attractions. Walking distance into town with plenty of amenities including the Tipsy Laird pub which sells good pub food and allows children and Joe's Chippy on the Corner does excellent fish and chips. Brenda and Stewart were very thoughtful in providing us with dishes, blankets and whole milk for our son and some wine for us which went down a treat at the end of a very busy day. Brenda is very approachable and we enjoyed hearing about the long history of the chalet and its importance it has had in their family. We didn't manage to do all the things we wanted in the four days we stayed and hope to book up again later in the year.
