Stopped by with 3 hungry children without a reservation and whilst they were fully booked they found us a table outside by the harbour. 3 children's lunches ordered - food all eaten which is a testament to how good it was as we all know children can be fussy eaters when out and about. I had the queenies as a main course and they were fantastic. We had a lovely waitress who pushed the girl's chairs in, had a lovely chat. Would not hesitate to visit again when we're next on the Island

This is a fun upmarket cafe serving some amazing food. Tasty, delicate flavours really well cooked - including the dessert. The fish is beautifully fresh. A bubbly place with a good atmosphere, but the service was desperately slow. We arrived at 12.45 and did have 3 courses, but didn't hang about eating or ordering and we walked out at 3pm. It was 45 minutes before we got our first course. You can watch the chefs work and they certainly weren't in a hurry! Such a shame - debated giving it 3 stars, but the food definitely deserves 5.

I googled "Top Seafood Restaurants in Isle of Man": I was not disappointed. They were choc-a-bloc but were very happy for me to eat at the stylish, curving, marble-topped bar. I had cod and chorizo croquettes followed by bream with new pots and garlic-roasted broccoli. The veg was perfect; the fish delicious, if a tiny tad overcooked for my taste. The best aspect was the great chat to be had with the intelligent and attentive staff, and watching a very cool and organised team at work in the kitchen. These guys believe, and love what they do. Go eat!
