Usually I am reluctant to book guest house or B&B as I prefer hotel service. However , visit to Victoria Mount Guest house completely changed my mind. The accommodation is perfect - every detail is thought through - from the most comfortable bed, to a powerful hairdrier, coffee machine, lovely towels and bed linen, coffee machine and satellite TV. The hosts are absolutely delightful - we were greated by name and they even helped us to book the ferry ! Breakfast was amazing - local, freshly produced ingredients. I strongly recommend having a room with the balcony, so you can sit outside and enjoy a glass of something in the sunshine. The accommodation and the hosts made our weekend on IOW really special and I will not hesitate to recommend this guest house (and will stay there again if we visit again :-). Many thanks

A superb Guest house in Ventnor, Isle of Wight. The Victoria Mount Guest House is situated handily for all the beaches and tourist attractions of the Isle of Wight. The guest house has been refurbished and tastefully decorated to a high standard of finish and provides good value for money. Paul Davies

We have just returned from a three-night stay and were very pleased with our choice of accommodation. The house is large and airy, our room (2) was also large, very comfortable and had a generous balcony which really added to our enjoyment of the warm sunny evenings. Stella and Mark were friendly and helpful and we had excellent breakfasts. We ate at three different restaurants, all within easy walking distance and there were further choices available. We were able to park free on the street opposite each night.

Room Tip: The balcony rooms are great to enjoy afternoon/evening sunshine and sea, town and hillside views.

Stayed here for two night in May. Loved the location, 2 minute walk from town, so far enough away to enjoy the view from the balcony in peace but pubs and restaurants just down the street. Very welcoming hosts, lovely large rooms, comfy bed and great breakfast. Would certainly stay there again without hesitation.

Great selection of restaurants for a small town too. Cantina (Peanut-butter milkshake), Fogg's (Tempura prawns) and El Toro (Tapas) were all really good.

Room Tip: Get a room with a balcony
