This is a nice hotel with a great location, lovely breakfast, easy walk into town, ok it was £7 to park the car overnight but was expected, checked in about 6 pm and got into the room.... cor blimey it was warm... found out it was above the leisure centre which is part of the hotel.... noise not a problem but the heat from the pool, saunas etc was way way over the top, we got back from an evening out and it was still baking hot, we had the 2 cooling fans on, the summer cool air fan turned on,the window opened as far as we could get it (there's a strap stopping you from opening it more than 4") so consequently slept on top of the bed pouring with sweat, nunk on,trying to cool down but to no avail, how disappointed were we..... after breakfast and checking out we mentioned it to the desk sargeant only to get ... oh dear ... sorry... but of course they know how hot that room gets otherwise they wouldn't have put 2 cooling fans in there, so lucky punters don't have room 257 ok? I've tried to email Marriott hotels but oddly enough there's no email contact p.s. No air conditioning in the room
