We visited on a recommendation from another guest staying at the nearby Crompton House who had eaten here the previous night. My husband and I did not have reservations and were a little disappointed when we arrived on a very wet and windy Saturday evening as the restaurant was almost full to capacity however the lovely waitress welcomed us and offered us one of the two remaining couple tables. The atmosphere was lively with a family birthday celebration taking place. Everybody was so excited and genuinely happy for this family without it coming across put on. We were served quickly and enjoyed watching our selected two course meal being prepared with a view to the open kitchen. Definitely the best calzone ever!!! Would highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to visiting again very soon . Thank you
