Comfortable bed. Good pillows. Nice bathroom. Strategic location. Warm and friendly staff. Airy rooms. Clean towels. No hairdryer but absolutely fine. It is above Lidl which is a plus for urgent necessities such as food, drinks, toiletries among others. Highly recommended.

Shower flooded bathroom. Dirty carpet in room. Strange smell of aftershave when entering room. Thin floor, could hear upstairs walking around through the night. Not enough parking spaces. Very good service and location.

We used this hotel on our way to Scotland for an overnight stay as it was roughly half way. It's convenient for the M6. Staff were efficient. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable so we slept well. We had the dog with us and there was plenty of room for his bed. The bathroom was clean and there was plenty of hot water. There was a bit of traffic noise as we were facing a roundabout. But with the double glazed window closed and the fan on to keep us cool, we didn't hear a huge amount. The hotel itself was quiet. We didn't use any facilities as the restaurant is now closed for breakfast, so we took our own with us. But there is a Lidl on the same site were you could grab and go during opening hours if you don't want the hotel version. Only hotel niggle I had was the fact there was no receptionist when we arrived and we were given a number to call to alert them but I had no reception. Unfortunately there were also guests who were not wearing masks in public areas. For that reason alone we cancelled our booking for the return leg, but we can hardly blame Travelodge for that. Others may be less nervous.
Stayed here for a few nights.. the room is basic but clean.. bathroom was a tad on the small side however was functional. For the price it was fine. The hotel is next to a lidl so that was convenient as we were able to get snacks and milk from downstairs. Plenty of parking as we were advised we could use the lidl car park.
Friendly, helpful staff andspotless, comfortable room. Excellent value for money and once found, very convenient for city centre. Couldn't work out how to get in the car park at first but once I realised, it is easy enough from one direction, not so obvious from another.
Me & my family stayed here after coming from London to visit Water World (really handy for this) room was really good price and staff were friendly but our room (305) just stank so bad the whole floor did as you opened for the 3rd floor it just smelt of like 4000 workmen’s boots after being in the trenches for months. I have no idea what it was but it was quite unpleasant and not sure why they are putting people on this floor when it’s so putrid. Room was really clean but got up in the night and there was a leak in bathroom couldn’t work out where it came from maybe sink. It’s so noisy with the traffic it’s fine with the window shut but it’s hot so you have to have a window open but extremely loud with the main road outside. Overall it was fine for 1 night but wouldn’t want to be there much longer.
