I stayed at Warmwell for a four night break with my toddler and her grandparents. It was a fantastic break and loved every minute of it. Our lodge was a lakeside one and my daughter loved watching out for the ducks and even the deer. The beds were really comfortable and the accommodation clean, spacious and just right for four people. The walks around the park were ideal for her, just long enough for her to walk independently which she loved. The swimming pool was fantastic and the ball pools just fabulous. She spent around two hours there every night and adored it. We ate in the restaurant and the food was great; I had the mussels and they were beautiful.

We loved our stay and very much hope yo return.

Hi there.

Wow what a stunning review! Thank you so much, we strive to create a positive place for guests to make family memories and it seems like we have accomplished this for your stay.

We are very lucky with the wildlife on our beautiful park and I am so pleased your daughter was able to witness this.

We look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Kind regards,
Cheryl – Warmwell

I'll start with the positives:
The setting was very pretty, wildlife wandering around, rabbits, ducks, friendly deer that you could feed (yes there are a few rats, we only saw two in the week we were there, but it is a woodland setting around 3 lakes, so it is to be expected).

The football/sports court and amusements were good and our teens spent a lot of time there.

Tesco/Sainsburys/Asda all deliver directly to your lodge door as do Ruby House, the local Chinese.

It is in a lovely part of the country, lots to do in the surrounding area.

Now to the negatives:
The lodge (Wareham 3 bed), as others have said, was very run down and shabby. The shower (a hose above the bath) had the pressure of a dripping tap. There were 2 x 2 seater sofas in a lodge meant for 8 people! We also only had 2 glasses and a broken tin opener. The veranda had a very uncomfortable (and sticky) picnic bench, so I recommend you bring a couple of camping chairs if you want to sit outside in comfort.

The restaurant, well no wonder it was empty, they got our drinks wrong and overcharged us and the food was - meh. Head to Wetherspoons in Dorchester, loads better and a heck of a lot cheaper.

The ringo session that our kids had was totally unfair. Despite starting at the back of the queue they were told it was the end of the session and had to leave first. They only had 4 goes but the children who were in front of them kept going back up and got 7 goes!

Disappointingly the wave pool wasn't working when we went. Also the archery session was cancelled because the equipment had been flooded (we are in the middle of a heatwave, how long does it take to dry?)

Finally a word of warning, if you play bingo. don't split your books up or let your children mark them because you will be disqualified. Not being bingo connoisseurs we didn't know this and wasted £10.

This place could be really nice, almost a mini centreparcs, it just needs a lick of paint and a bit better organisation.

Having just returned from a long weekend at Warmwell I would have to put this place up there with one of the best holiday parks we have stayed at.
We opted for the early check in and stayed in lodge 164 which is a 3 bedroom Dorchester. The accomodation was wonderful, plenty of space both inside and on a private veranda. All mod cons and exactly what we needed, a real home from home.
The site is quite hilly but it wasn't an issue for us and we have young children.
The pool is a little dated but the kids enjoyed the slide and the waves that come on every hour.
Large arcade area, soft play, roller disco, outside had play areas and football courts and of course then there is the ski slope!
The kids (and adults) loved it, reasonably priced it was a great half an hour throwing ourselves down in giant rings - give it a go!
Evening entertainment was as expected, a bit of bingo followed by a kids disco. Bar and restaurant will sting you in the pocket for what it actually is but that's to be expected at a holiday park.
Well worth the trip, we had great fun!

My wife and two grandchildren visited for a few days, the lodge we stayed in was in a wood like setting
Which was quite good, the lodge was clean and tidy however it was a bit dated.
The television was not great as the signal broke up for long periods.
On a negative note on several occasions we saw rats one of which ran across the veranda and the table
Outside we didn’t tell the children as if they saw them we would have had to leave.
On a plus note we did take the children to the sky slope this they really enjoyed .

Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to share your holiday experience with us. Our park has an abundance of wildlife roe deer, squirrels, ducks etc., unfortunately with these comes some unwanted wildlife. We do control this well, with pest control visiting the site when needed.

Thanks again your feedback, it really is important to us as a team.

Kind regards,
Cheryl - Warmwell

Just had a week at the Warmwell site and our first visit to Dorset. Yes we liked it. The site was lodges and ours one of the mainly detached ones overlooking one of the lakes. The lodge was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Kitchen diner, decked verandah, two bedrooms, one double en suite and one twin. Washer dryer and dish washer. The site had very good facilities, dry ski slop, fishing and entertainment complex. We didn’t go fishing but did go on the ski slop for a Ringos session. The chippie on site was good, and we had a Sunday lunch. There was entertainment every evening, including an open air film -The Greatest Showman. All the acts/singers/band we saw were good. There was a roller disco and swimming pool with wave machine and slides.

Overall a very nice site and would both recommend and return.
