This is a quite typical English guesthouse in what it offers but it is all done with care and thought. There is no attempt at phoney glitz(Chocs on Pillows etc) to justify overpicing. The rooms are attractively decorated and dressed and very comfortable. There was road noise in the front room we had but it did not bother us.The tv was iffy and only had 123&4 channels. We had a portable dvd player with us and read a lot so that did not bother us particularly. It is a large house with original features which have been retained. The house was clean and the food was good, the cooked breakfast being more than ample. With plenty of choice as to type of meal. The owners were charming and interesting . The house has an easy walk to Chesil beach from a few yards down the road which takes about 25 mins each way and stretches the legs without having to overexert oneself. We had a truly comfortable and enjoyable stay.
There are other facilites which you can see on their site.
