The hotel itself is excellent. The staff were welcoming and the room that we had was very good indeed. It was spacious and bright with a very comfy bed. The position of the hotel on the edge of town is very good and convenient and as there was a Beefeater next door and Sainsburys with a café over the road you do not have to go far to eat.
I have given this 4 rather than 5 stars because as with any hotel like this there is never enough coffee, milk and sugar in the room and it is very inconvenient to have to constantly ask for more at reception.
We had spent the previous few nights at other hotel chains in different places, one provided good wi-fi free and the other for a small charge. The free wi-fi at this hotel was worse than useless and the 'ultimate wi-fi' package very expensive and not worth getting when one is in and out of the hotel all the time.

We have visited many Premier Inns and this one ranks very highly , mainly due to the lovely efficient staff including Marc who checked us in with a very friendly manner and said hello to us often during our stay . Also his colleagues who were very nice people. BUT so very let down by the Beefeater restaurant next door , with staff who seem to find working there a chore, it simply lacks personality . Such a shame . We ate breakfast at Sainsbury’s every morning and avoided the Beefeater following a very poor experience . But we do highly recommend this Premier Inn , but avoid the Beefeater !

Always welcoming, clean and comfortable. Weymouth premier inn is well placed for visiting the area. Near to amenities in this delightful coastal area. Beefeater restaurant and supermarkets with cafes within walking distance.
