“absolutely, fantastic, secluded, luxury”
Reviewed 20 November 2011 for a stay in November 2011

Our party consisted of ages ranging between 2yrs and 65yrs and we all had an eually amazing time at Warmwell.
We were lucky to have chosen a week in November that blessed us with particularly mild weather so we were able to visit all the conveniently located tourist attrctions. We all enjoyed Monkey World, the Sea Life Centre and Dinosaur World in Dorchester.
We did our food shopping in Dorchester tescos on our arrival but would recommend going to Weymouth as journey is practically straight and easier to find. The shop on site is a little expensive but useful for forgotten items.
On site, the facilities were great we made use of the swimming pool, soft play, amusement arcade, restaurant and the evening entertainment was varied and fun. It was end of season and guests were limited but the Park Dean Troupers gave it their all every night (we even won £70 on the bingo)
Finally, the lodge was absolutely amaing, in fact we spent most of the week wishing we lived there permanently It was warm and cosy, immculately clean, modern and with every facility you could think of including a spa bath, washer dryer and fantastic wine cooler.
Booking was straightforward and when the shower spray was found faulty on the bath, one quick text to Stewart and someone appeared within 30 minutes and it was fixed in no time.
all in all we had a great time and would highly recommend it (we even took a lodge sales brochure home with us)
If I had to make any critism or suggestion ...... it would be that the lodge was 1/2 mile walk to the main reception/entertainment, and it is a little hilly in places. (my mother who has had a stroke and knee replacement did struggle abit with the walking)
It may also be helpful if there were some leaflets / tourist info re. places to visit / recommended restaurants etc. in the lodge and free internet access

“Great Lodge at Warmwell”
Reviewed 12 August 2011 for a stay in August 2011

This lodge was excellent. My expectations were moderated by the fact that it was sited on a Hoseasons marketed park, but it was a real home from home. There was even pressure in the shower. The location on the park was quiet and secluded witht he balcony a South facing sun trap. I set off the alarm as I arrived and the security staff commented that this was probably the best unit on the site.

I have not reccomended it for young singles and would also question it for very young children as it would be a shame to see it not looked after. Older childrn would benefit more from the activites on site although mine did enjoy the childrens entertainment.

There have been criticism of the site, but I went in the pool and did not find it any colder than those local to home. Locals were using the pool and soft play in preference to those in Weymouth and even in school holidays it did not fell too busy.

“Excellent value for money!”
Reviewed 7 August 2011 for a stay in July 2011

Half the fun of the holiday is a comfortable place to stay and this was excellent - home from home! Would certainly recommend this lodge to anyone as had every facility you could want and more. We all had a great time, the weather did us proud and would definitely stay here again. Thank you.
