“Lovely few days away”

A super break in a lovely cottage- walks in the woods, feeding the chickens and lots of fresh air- with a beautiful view of the river! Thank you for a great holiday.

“Cosy and Quaint”
Reviewed 5 November 2017 for a stay in October 2017

We brought our grandaughters ( 8 and 6 years) and as soon as we got there they thought it "Ace".They spent a great deal of their time with the hens., Great position with lovely walks from the doorstep, helped by good weather. Halloween was great fun as it was pitch dark outside! Chocolates and welcome pack from Rachael were much appreciated.
As the girls bedroom was very compact I don't think we will return other than as a couple, which I'm sure we will.

“Peaceful cottage in beautiful position”
Reviewed 8 March 2017 for a stay in March 2017

This L-shaped cottage is much bigger inside than the front suggests, and has been well laid out to provide all you could need and lots of comfort (- sloping ceilings make getting out of the bath a bit of an adventure). Fascinating photo album of the renovation of a building that goes back 400 years. Also a wealth of pictures and articles on the walls with some interesting history. The river was high and fast when we were there, and provided a great backdrop. A really lovely place for a quiet break.
