This was the perfect place for us to come for a short half-term break. Having a disability means that finding accessible accommodation is always quite tricky. But finding accommodation that is accessible, modern and clean is even trickier. However, the Retreat was the perfect place. It was completely disabled friendly, decorated and furnished to a high standard and so peaceful. It was also lovely having animals on the site. My family loved seeing the chickens, goats, sheep, rabbits and even emus! We could not fault this amazing holiday home one bit. But what really made this place special was our amazing hosts, Andy and Amanda. They were so kind, helpful and friendly which made our time so precious. We would have no hesitation in booking this place again.
Andy and Amanda will make you feel welcome from the start .excellant accomodation fully equipped thoughout .A must stay for all ages and ability .if ever you want to visit norfolk this is the place to stay .we will be definetly returning ..
We (2 adults and 2 children) spent the weekend at Riverside Farm staying in The Retreat.
The barn is beautiful. Spacious, clean and with everything you could possibly need.
We felt at home the minute we arrived. We were greeted by Amanda who showed us to our barn.
The welcome tray of tea, coffee, biscuits, fresh eggs and milk was very much appreciated.
We all loved our stay on the farm. The children absolutely loved all the animals. They helped Andy feed them and got to walk the goats.
None of us wanted to leave and we will definitely be returning. Would recommend Riverside Farm to anyone.
Amanda and Andy - Thank you so much for making us all feel so welcome on your beautiful farm.

The retreat is a beautiful converted stable building that is fitted out to a really high standard. The kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of plates, cutlery, pots and pans etc. It was immaculately clean with care and thought given to the furnishings and linen.
Andy and Amanda were very welcoming, and couldn't have done more to make our stay comfortable and relaxing.
The setting is really lovely, our boys enjoyed the table tennis, swing ball and meeting all the animals. Within the grounds is a pond, with a canoe, again this was a real hit with our boys!
There are some lovely walks on the door step, we did part of a circular walk to Mattishall, enjoyed a couple of drinks in the pub and wandered back.
We had a really lovely stay and would definitely visit again.
A lovely ideal place to base yourself if are going to travel around Norfolk great for a large family like ours, a pets corner which is great for the young ones. Nice and clean perfect for a long or short stay.
