Booked a 1 night day with living social. On arrival were greeted by 2 lovely receptionists who told me they could upgrade us to the bronte suite for an extra £10. The suite was fabulous with a jacuzzi bath and lovely voya products. That night there was a boxing event on so it was quite noisy and fire alarms did go off a number of times. But by midnight the place was much quieter and I slept well in a lovely superking size bed.
We did eat in the bar as the restaurant was closed due to the boxing. I had a chicken burger which was very dry and almost inedible, and my partner had lasagne which was just OK.
Breakfast the following morning was fine. Decent choice. I had eggs florentine which I didn't really like. But all in all there was enough there to choose from.
Overall an enjoyable stay especially because of the upgrade and friendly staff.More
