Stopped here for tea and cake. Had unusual flavoured homemade cakes. My husband had a coconut and lime sponge, which was delicious. I tucked into a millionaires type slice which was topped in salted peanuts. This too was extremely tasty.
Dogs are welcome and my dog was given a dog treat. We were able to sit inside or outside with our four legged friend.
This is an individual
independent cafe with plenty of character.
Tea is served in a large china teapot and mismatched cups or mugs. Loved this cafe and hope it never changes.

Had a lovely Cornish cream tea. Loads of cream, delicious jam and a huge warm scone. Friendly service and the dog got a biscuit while I was eating, and drinking tea . Definitely worth the walk away from the main waterfront.

Came across this cafe 1st afternoon we arrived in Fowey but too late to go in...a couple were just coming out and declared it was their 'local' and was very good... Promised ourselves we give it a whirl before we left...Friday 23rd March we by-passed many other attractive looking cafes in Fowey to give it a go! ...Very glad we did...friendly, clean and most attractively 'quirky' . But none of that any benefit unless the coffee and food up to standard for the prices and menu choice...did not disappoint..the ladies in charge and comfortably confident with customers, were a delight and whilst an underlying purpose of professionalism, they were friendly and welcoming...the food was served promptly and was tasty, fresh and no reason for us to complain about at all...Coffee was one of our favourites...Voyager ...from Buckfastleigh.... This is a popular with regular visitors and locals...and rightly so...well done for the 5 'stars' from us..

Character filled coffee shop with added homemade cakes and light meals. Ideal if you want to relax and do a bit of knitting, read or chat. Brick a bat everywhere to look at. Surfing paraphernalia to smile at. Everyone welcome, dogs at tables outside. Upstairs area. Collection of tables and chairs mismatched but with cushions and wraps. Smiley, relaxed cafe serving good coffee and cakes with interesting ingredients e.g. Beetroot.
