It was our first time staying in Great Yarmouth and what a fantastic start, we stayed in the Cappacino room at the Seasheels Guest House, we were greeted by Sue, the owner of the Seashells, immediately we knew our stay was going to be a great experience. Sue welcomes you with a natural smile and has a bubbily personality.
As soon as you enter the Guest House you immediately smell the freshnees and feel the warm atmosphere. The Cappacino room itself was everything you could wish for and more. The quality of the furnishing were 100% with added touches of complimentary sweets/biscuits. Sue has thought of your every needs, as you all know there are times when we all forget things when we go on holiday, you never know when you may need a sewing kit, umbrella or first aid. Sue has supplied a complimentary basket full of all these things and more.
The breakfast room is warm and welcoming with so much character, the breakfast served is of highest standard and so much to choose from, you will not leave the breakfast room a hungrey person, if you have a dog, even they will get a sausage for breakfast.
The Seashells is situated to close proximity to the town centre, pubs, restaurants, sea front, amusements and more. Sue recommended a great place to eat 'Yankee Travellers' an american dinner, the food was superb and you will struggle to clear your plate!
We beleive our stay at the Seashells Guest House was one of our best holidays, we stayed for 4 nights in February 2012 and will definately stay with Sue and the dog's in the near future.
We highely recommend the Seashells Guest House to all dog and non dog owners, one of the things that first swayed us to stay at the Seashells Guest House was the fact that dog's were also allowed to stay. We used to have a German Shepherd but sadely lost him at a grand old age of 12 nearly 18 months ago and we know how difficult it can be to find accomodation that will cater for dogs, well done Sue you are one of a kind.
Take care and we hope to see you soon
