Paid for superior sea view room got a box room advertised as a twin room instead. The ignorant and rude guy on the desk claimed that "the extra single bed makes it superior to other rooms". The whole situation was an obvious scam. We had to raise the claim through booking.com to receive the compensation in price difference.
The Wi-Fi was not accessible in our room. The bathroom was dirty and rather disgusting. The whole place smells with dump and reeks of age and neglect. The worst place I have ever stayed in!

Stayed here in July with my wife, my son and his two daughters who also had a room. Paid £180 for the two rooms - a total waste of money. The place is dirty, it's not tired looking - it's asleep. No evening meal was offered - for July this is not acceptable. Tripping hazard by the bar - holes in carpet. Bar didn't open until 5 o'clock even though it says on its own website 2 o'clock! The balcony was littered with old dog ends. Dust everywhere. Cramped rooms with old fashioned furniture. Outside seating area a joke - broken furniture. Breakfast area dismal - food very basic. Overpriced. Overall not even worth £20 per night. Stay at your own peril - you have been warned. Also the day we arrived one of the female guests staying there was outside either drunk/drugged and was shouting her mouth off with foul language and, we found out later, had previously been banned from his "hotel" but was basically a guest courtesy of social services!! Later during that same day she set of the fire alarms in a drunken stupor because she had again been asked to leave. The final nail in this "hotel's" coffin was when a guy, called Andy, on reception asked my wife to leave good feed back with the promise of giving back £30 from the price we had paid. Against my better judgement my wife felt sorry for him after he appealed to her for a good review. As you can imagine he betrayed her good intentions and broke his promise - no money was paid to her. However I'm now telling it how it was because the truth needs to be said so the public are not deceived/unhappy - a much nicer place can easily be found nearby for a lot less money. In a stricter country this place would have it's licence removed.

This place is the worst place I have ever stayed in. Booked for 2 nights and left after less than 24 hours. Bloke on the desk rude and no parking was told first come first served, I said I booked because it states free parking so had to pay £7.00 to park in the road. The hotel is dirty bodged up and honestly the worst place I have ever stayed in needs to be pulled down. Paint work done by a one armed bandit with no hands and blind, light pull cord was some old bit of string no lampshade on lights no hot water floorboards creaked and the bed must be 100 years old. Entertainment was some old has been badly singing any old rubbish. Spoke to other visitors over the breakfast and they said it was like something out of George & Mildred.

Room Tip: Dont bother

AVOID the worst hotel ever dark dingy and damp. The most ignorant landlord in the world. To top it all off if anyone on the 1st floor has a shower water comes streaming out of the ceiling and the bar staff have to rush over and place pans under the leaks. Take a look at the photos to see what a bodged up job he has done to try and stop it and look how close the leaks are to the electrics
