A 5 star hotel with all the personal touches. Home from home. Loved every minute of it. Breakfast delicious. We stayed in the suite which was luxiourious, clean and tidy, flat screen T.V.'s in all the rooms. Keith & Elsa the owners could not do enough for us, they are such a lovely couple, we felt like family at the end of it. Centrally located to restaurants/beach and shops, but on a lovely quiet road. We shall be going back next October.

Room Tip: All rooms were lovely.

This guest house is the first aa 5 star rated in Great Yarmouth. It is very good but requires some finesse. The toiletries were very meagre and the decor could have been better finished. I agree with a previous review the lack of a cafetiere at breakfast is disappointing .However overall it was a good experience and these tiny gripes did not spoil our stay in anyway. The owners were very friendly and everywhere was very clean and welcoming. We would stay again.

'Toiletries were very meagre' this one bewilders us as it did before until we found they were in room 4 and did not know the extras were in the box on the top. They are very expensive and replaced every day. Coffee sorted; brand new machine set up in dinning room. Bodkins my fault as, even after rinsing, the granules keep getting on everything in the dishwasher so I banned Elsa from using them.
I need the answer to the question I have asked before I can respond to the rest

Regards
Keith

Booked a Saturday night at 3 Norfolk Square but wanted to have thewhole day in Yarmouth.Read previous reviews so on the Friday phoned to ask if we couldarrive at 10.30.A nice man said he would not be able to do that because of breakfast.Told us to park on drive and put the keys through the letter box. When we checked in the car was parked opposite and our bags were in our room,The room was fantastic, location great and the breakfast brilliant. Will definitely be back.

I stayed here for one night on September 12th 2011. I travel extensively for business and I'm incredibly fussy and always take care to book places where I won't feel like I have to walk around on my toe nails!!

3 Norfolk Square is a very friendly, clean, tidy and well-run B&B. The owners cannot do enough for you. I had room 4 which is beautifully decorated in black and white and has a small balcony area overlooking the gardens and sea. There was plenty of room for all your clothes, a nice seating area in a sunny bay window and the en-suite had a good, powerful shower. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty and would satisfy the hungriest of people!

Although I didn't use it, the lounge looks very cosy for a winter's day and has a large selection of DVD's.

It is centrally located and the local shops, restaurants and the pier/beach are all within very easy walking distance. As a lone female traveller, I did not feel at all nervous about leaving the B&B on my own for dinner, although I was also informed that the owners had a large selection of take away menus and they would have been happy for me to eat in my room/lounge or bar area.

This is a fantastic find and I shall certainly be back to stay, whether for business or for pleasure. Ignore the bad reviews. I could find no fault at all and I would recommend this place to anyone - it's a real gem.

Feel free to contact me with any questions :-)

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at 3 Norfolk Square and we were very impressed. The hosts were fabulous and went that extra mile to help make our stay enjoyable. Keith arranged entertainment for both evenings: booking a table at a top class fish restaurant The Seafood Restaurant (a must if you visit Yarmouth) and a table at the newly refurbished restaurant at Yarmouth Stadium for greyhound racing, both of which we would not have been able to do ourselves as it was busy in Yarmouth for various racing events and most places were full. The breakfasts were lovely, the rooms were clean and well decorated. Will definitely visit again.
