When I visited some adjacent building works were making lots of loud noise, but that aside this is a typical cafe within a garden centre.
It has a large number of tables, some in a conservatory area, and offers light snacks, teas and coffees. My slice of sponge was a very generous sized portion, and was very light in texture but full of flavour. The coffee was also very good quality.
As it is slightly hidden away down a side street it is full of locals escaping the tourist hordes.
