Recently attended my mate's wedding here and stayed the night.

Great quirky venue with fantastic food and brilliant staff.

In the morning my 3 year old son was being his usual energetic self and staff member Joe could see we'd benefit from a helping hand with him. He let him 'help' with breakfast set up, brought him magazines and played games with him so we could enjoy our breakfast the next morning with the happy couple.

This was the same guy who was getting him milk and bread the next day despite a busy wedding going on, making all look easy with a smile. Fantastic bloke and a credit to the hotel.

Couldn't rate the staff here highly enough and my mate had a great day.

We stayed at the Belle Époque in Knutsford on our way up to Scotland. The hotel looked lovely on their website and although there were some negative reviews, on balance we felt that it would be a nice place to stay. We arrived at around 3pm only to find the door shut, and locked! Fortunately there was a doorbell which we pressed and after a few minutes the door opened. An apologetic man told us that they 'were working out the back' and so had locked the door.

We walked into quite a dark bar area and half expected an elderly family retainer to appear but instead we were greeted by a very pleasant and helpful young man who checked us in and showed us to our room.

The room was a decent size with a bathroom you could have held a ball in, however it was in need of a face lift. Everything was clean, just a tad shabby. It was a real shame as potentially this could be a real gem. Unfortunately the hotel seems to be under the flight path of flights into and out of Manchester airport and it was incredibly noisy - not something that the hotel have any control over but maybe as part of an overhaul, better glazing could alleviate the problem significantly.

Breakfast was lovely and the staff members we met were very helpful. As far as location is concerned, it couldn't be better. Not far off the M6 in a lovely town.

I recently went to a wedding here and it was great. The only things that let it down is that I feel there wasn't enough seating and it was quite small inside. The que for the bar was also huge and as there wasn't enough staff on. The venue itself was lovely and the food was amazing!
It was sunny so we went out on the terrace and had photos which was lovely. The staff were all really nice.

Booked in for two nights for the Tatton Park Flower Show, we were not disappointed. Really lovely friendly staff, nice room great breakfast. Unfortunately they don't serve food other than breakfast. There was to be a wedding on the day we left and the room was kitted out beautifully I think they go beyond being good for weddings, lovely personal little hotel, very peaceful very nice, good location.

Room Tip: We had room 2 which overlooked the little garden at the rear

The reviews on here seem to be aimed at the restaurant which has rave reviews. Unfortunately, after our second room for the evening, the bright green carpet, filthy windows, broken wardrobe and chipped glasses... not to mention the mass of cob webs and dust, this is an AVOID at all costs hotel. Staff were lovely but the pictures on the website must have been taken 30yrs ago, really disappointed. 0/10 on all accounts. Staff 10/10 just let down by the product.
