“Wonderful, relaxing cottage”

We have just spent a wonderful week here! The cottage is lovely - cosy, very well equipped and in a beautiful location. With easy access to either the coast or the New Forest there is plenty to do. We enjoyed several wonderful walks in the Forrest including one from the cottage. Nina was a lovely hostess making us feel very welcome. We would not hesitate to recommend Kings Hyde cottage.

“A little hidden gem.”
Reviewed 1 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

After a day of flying back to the UK after work. We arrive here late to a very friendly welcome by Nina and the dog. The accommodation is beautiful and a home away from home. Everything you would need is provided. A welcome basket of biscuits, tea, coffee and milk was very welcome after travelling for so long. The cottage is attached to the main house but you wouldn't noticed at all. It feels like an isolated cottage. An area of the garden is set out and we had a few relaxing evenings sitting with a BBQ (kindly provided by owner) with just the sound of horses breaking the silence. We had an amazing week here. The owners left us to our own devices but were always on hand if required. Brilliant located to explore the new forest. We couldn't find fault with anything and if we were in the new forest, this would be the place we would book to stay.

“Fabulous !”
Reviewed 30 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Well what a find ... This is a gorgeous and immaculate cottage in the heart of the New Forrest countryside but only a couple of miles from the coast too. The cottage is newly renovated, and very comfortable. Nina and Tony are the perfect hosts and have thought of everything. Thankyou.

“Perfect cottage in heart of new forest”
Reviewed 12 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

My husband and I, plus 2 yr old daughter, thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Kings Hyde. The cottage was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The owner had kindly rearranged the bedroom so we could fit in a travel cot easily. The basket with tea/coffee/biscuits plus locally-made wine chilling in fridge were a lovely welcome. Location was great for exploring the forest- tucked away from the tourist hustle and bustle, but only 2 mins drive from Sway and 10-15mins from Lymington/Milford.

“Excellent accommodation and warm welcome”
Reviewed 4 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Wonderful cottage which was lovely and comfortable and the peace and quiet was outstanding. Perfect base for visiting local seaside. Everything you could want for your stay was included in the cottage, the bed was comfortable, the large lounge was so relaxing and the kitchen offered everything you need for a self catering holiday. We look forward to our next stay there. Nina lived next door and was friendly and helpful and had thought of everything for our stay, just wish we could have stayed longer.
