A lovely house for a big family group, enough space to be separate but enough to be together.
Lots to see and do within walking distance including the Crown Inn and Woods of Whitchurch for bread and deli, with the delightful Symonds Yat about twenty minutes away.
We booked Cedars House for a hen weekend and it was absolutely perfect!
The house is amazing and has everything you will need for your stay. It is beautifully furnished with lots of interesting things and all of the rooms are different, quirky and feel really homely.
The beds were comfy and there were plenty of bathrooms to accommodate our 17 guests.
There is also loads of parking and a handy shop around the corner for anything you may have forgotten.
We based a lot of the activities around the house as we wanted to make the most of it, and we were able to use the lovely garden area too. We were also very close to the River Wye as we had a day of canoeing planned. It was a great location, and easy to find as really close to the A40.
Jan and Jonathan were lovely hosts, meeting us at the start of our stay and again at the end to check everything was ok. They kindly left us some bubbly in the fridge and some lovely cupcakes from a local bakery. Perfect after a long drive!
We knew we could contact them easily during our stay if we had any problems. I would love to stay at Cedars House again. Would recommend to anyone!
