We called in, after a bit of shopping and a few drinks, as the food smelt so good, and we weren't disappointed. We ordered either haddock or cod and chips, a couple with mushy peas, one with curry sauce, and all commented how it was the best fish and chips we'd had in a long while. I'd highly recommend Seven Seas chippy, if ever we're in the area again, we'll be sure to call in.

Thank Steve H

We used this chip shop as we were staying on a camp site about 4 miles away....we telephoned an order through and a very blunt rude man took our order.......we arrived ahead of our delivery time as there were 22 of us which had ordered food and we needed to pay for 5 different orders and 2 people in our party wanted to order once the had eyeballed the food.......the ladies in this establishment were amazing they bagged our food up amazingly and wrote on the bags whose food was who so we could dish it all out when we got back....THE FOOD WAS AMAZING.....from fish and chips to kebabs and kids meals complete with a colouring book for the kids.....it was piping hot and big fat proper chips to make your mouth water and fill your belly.....if your in the area do stop and eat here you WONT BE DISAPPOINTED.......the rude man with the dark hair was extremely stressed in the shop and making the other staff stressed out as he was mumbling and grumblinghe even had the cheek to say to us “ your early I was told this order was for 7.15” .... so what mate we just gave you £50 worth of orders and now your moaning as came early to pay for it all and sort out some over the counter orders....when your on a camp site and don’t know the way you have to plan and being early is absolutely fine as we weren’t in the shop moaning or saying where is it and why isn’t it done.....suggest a holiday for you and all the other staff can have a rest from your negativity both on the phone and in house customer service.....we did ignore this man when he moaned at us in the shop as we could see the effect he was having on everyone in the shop.......despite his attitude the food was totally amazing as were the other staff who served us and bagged it up....well worth the money and the drive from the campsite.

This place has all the foundations of a great, if not, ever dwindling ‘fish and chip restaurant’.
The polarising ‘artwork’ all over the room is so quirky you’d almost think it intentional. The customer service lead a lot to be desired, no staff in the restaurant most off the time and were only asked how the food was as an afterthought when walking away with the card machine. The kebab burger on the menu was a little laughable given the apparent cliental. Fish as long as your arm and two sachets of tartare sauce (these guys should do themselves a favour and cash in on the trend of £1.50 tubs of homemade tartare). All in all this place has a massive issue disassociating themselves from their adjoining Happy Kebab style restaurant although the fish and chips is some of the best you can get this far from the coast, craps all over the new chains “Salt n’ Sauce” etc. Well worth a visit but may I suggest a take away as the restaurant is not the main product, abundantly.
