Have just got home after staying the night with my husband at this amazing hotel. I can't fault anything! It was very clean, warm and comfortable and cosy. Room 3 was lovely. Theres lots to praise, comfy pillows and bed, heated floor in the bathroom, free Netflix, robes in the wardrobe! Breakfast was tasty and generous portion sizes. I can see why this hotel has won the awards it rightly deserves.

This must rank as one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The refurbishment of this listed building is incredible. The attention to details in both service and rooms is excellent. Some big name chain hotels could learn a thing or two from the Tavistock House. Nothing was too much trouble with a map showing places to eat along with information on a local attraction being supplied in an instant.

Even though located on the main road out of Tavistock we had no issues with parking or traffic noise.

First class hotel. Brad and Gill have thought of everything to make the stay very enjoyable. The whole experience from information provided to the excellent room itself made our break memorable. The detail of provision within the hotel and the room was first class and nothing I had been overlooked.

Room Tip: We had an upgrade on arrival and our room was superb as I suspect are all of the others.

What a lovely place to stay in. The owners cannot do enough for you and thank you for your information given and recommendations. The rooms are second to none, absolutely spotless, high standard furniture and excellent quality beds and bedding. Toiletries provided in excess, underfloor heating, so comfortable I didn't want to leave the hotel and explore the surrounding areas. The breakfasts are amazing too and plenty to choose from. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

Stayed for two nights and even though the weather was atrocious, we enjoyed our stay in Tavistock. Room was lovely and warm when we arrived and Brad gave us a lovely welcome. Hotel has such beautiful features but at the same time managing to harness the modern aspect and feel most people seek. Breakfast was great. Will come back I am sure.

Room Tip: We were upgraded by the owner without having to ask, so good for us!!
