We visited during the Easter school holidays and to our surprise, the Quay was not crowded. The children loved all the activities, including the Victorian school, chocolate story and the rock crushing. The location by the river is stunning on a sunny day and the staff were all friendly and accommodating. We didn't have time for the copper mine train ride so we will do that the next time we visit.

Just a 10 minute drive from the Horn of Plenty, this place takes you back in time. You get to see how people lived when mining was thriving. The trip to the mine was very educational. Well worth a visit.

Having visited Morwhellham quay thirty years ago and at the time I was impressed with facilities. I expected the same today.
This venue is now tired and in need of TLC.
With weeds and no flowers, paint work and general maintenance is poor.

A new entrance has been built and gives impression of being well maintained .... but car park should have given us the clue!!

The disabled toilet is extremely disappointing. Anyone in an electric wheelchair has no chance of closing the door on either of the disabled toilets in the entrance block and then new toilet facilities in tithe main ‘village’.

This will not be visited again..we are pleased we had not taken any of our visitors with us.

The sister business of Bicton Gardens ....Morwhellham is definitely the poor relation.

This could be an amazing venue with some imagination and cash/effort put into it.

Spent a day at Morwhellam Quay, went on the copper mine train, what an experience and Rick was very informative, Lunch in the Ship In was lovely and I cant recommend the soup enough, it was delicious.
I love visiting Victorian villages and seeing all the old stuff in the cottages and buildings. The animals were so cute, especially the goat. A really good day out.
