Carol was very helpful before we arrived and was there to welcome us. We had a great stay. The house was spotlessly clean and the garden was perfect for eating out and for somewhere for the kids to run off some energy. Would highly recommend.

peaceful, and relaxing break
We stayed in "Brambles" for a long weekend to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and to meet some friends. On arrival there was a welcome hamper and a bottle of wine and a card for us. Carol and Doug were very friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely stay. The cottage was excellent. It was very clean and well equipped. The garden was beautiful. We spent an afternoon with two friends in the garden enjoying tea, cake and fantastic views. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you Carol and Doug for making our stay so wonderful.

Wonderful short break
We loved our stay at Brambles. Wonderfully equipped with luxurious extra touches plus great location handy for Stratford u.A, Kenilworth and Banbury villages. Really made to feel welcome by the owners and great to have access to the lovely garden during the fine weather. There is a good walk almost from the doorstep across fields taking in Drayton arch, Obelisk and over to Wroxton which was a bonus.

Just Perfect
After multiple lockdowns and avoiding places and people for most part of a year a visit to any where seemed like a dream so booked Brambles with the hope of something good.
I can say in all honesty there was nothing I can say at fault with the property, location, amenities and comfort of the place. All helped along with excellent help, welcome, support and communication from the owner Carol. The property is clean, modern, well cared for well set up and although in the country side it is close enough to anything a town or city could offer.
We all had an amazing time in the glorious Oxfordshire country side. Along with a great dinner in the local Roebuck Inn on one night, and with several lovely long summer evenings out side in the big garden space (with a few glasses of whiskey).

Lovely holiday home in a lovely location.
Stayed for 3 nights to visit family in the area. Tucked away in a peaceful location , but with easy access to Banbury and the Cotswolds. Well appointed, comfortable, spotlessly clean property with everything needed for a holiday stay. The friendly owners are on site to help or advise if required. A welcome basket including wonderful home made bread is an added bonus. Beautiful views from the windows and terraced garden with stunning sunsets in good weather. We would be more than happy to return here.

We stayed for 3 nights, the barn was just lovely. So clean with great little touches added by Carol.
There is a field with horses at the end of the garden which my children enjoyed feeding and were lovely to watch from the window of the accommodation.
We had a very comfortable stay and couldnt ask for more, we will deffinately return.

Second visit
We first visited Brambles in July being in Banbury to visit family. We were very impressed with the comfort and cleanliness of the accomodation For us the view across the garden to the countryside beyond and the peace and quiet were what drew us back in September. Carol the owner is very friendly and helpful but not intrusive. She provided a lovely welcome basket including homemade bread. No doubt we will return

PERFECTLY PLACED AND VERY COMFORTABLE
Brambles is well placed for easy car journeys to Oxford, Stratford upon Avon, The Cotswolds and Warwick.
A warm welcome from Carol on arrival and home made bread too - thank you Carol.
The Brambles is very comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, and the bedrooms are very comfortable. Carol has thought of many little extras that make that homely feel. Spotlessly clean and very light and airy accommodation. The gardens provide a relaxing space to enjoy, with beautiful views over the woods beyond. Plenty of secure parking space.
We'd be very happy to return again.

Banbury which is only 2 miles away, has a train station, cinema, bowling alley and sports centre and restaurants. Drayton a small village with a local pub called The Roebuck which serves good food. A small church which dates back to 17th century. There are plenty of places to walk and Wroxton Abbey grounds is in the next village. Plenty of very good pubs and restaurants around this area.. On the Stratford road 5 miles away just off the A422 is Upton House Mansion National Trust property. Burford and Bourton on the water are a lovely day out.
