I stayed at Avonlea guest house in May, 2015. The owner Debi is great, we got on famously. The location of this particular B&B suits me best because the walk to and from town is level. There are no long, steep hills to climb, which I appreciate.
There is a flight of steep stairs to the 2nd level. I was lucky this time to be on the ground level, but could do the stairs. Breakfast can be warm traditional English breakfast, or you can help yourself to the fridge in the breakfast room for yogurt. Also cereal and granola available. Tea or coffee can be made in the room. The B&B is small, very clean, comfortable, and friendly. I will return a second time for sure.

Room Tip: 2or3 doubles (one downstairs) and one single (upstairs). It's no nonsense and delightful.

This was a wonderful B&B! Debbie was very nice and welcoming! The room was very clean but slightly on the small size and the bedside lamp fiddly to use . There was ample free parking and a great breakfast It is a little bit of a walk in to the town centre, but no longer than 10 minutes. I would definitely stay here again!

I stayed one night on business and it was ideal. Everything was clean and tidy, there is parking at the front and I was able to walk to Banbury Cross in a few minutes. Excellent breakfast and conveniently located for any of the industrial parks/office centres in Banbury.

We arrived Sunday evening and were the only people staying that evening.
We were greated by Debbie and shown to our room.
The room was very tidy and clean and had everything you needed for one night's stay.
Breakfast was ready for us at 9am, with options of cereals, yogurts, toast, cooked breafast, and teas/juices.
We had a cooked breakfast which was lovely and just what you need!
Overall, a wonderful little guest house, minutes walk to the town centre, and great value!
