Here for bed and breakfast only, but we won't be back.
The place feels like it hasn't had any real care since 1980, all feeling rather tired and run down. The breakfast was actually pretty terrible. Nothing we were served up felt properly cooked, most of it tasted microwaved or chronically overcooked (or overheated). People rightfully expect more for their £££ these days.
The prices are eye-watering - they are charging city prices for a typical highland tat hotel, which is pretty inexcusable. Contrary to other reports the staff are fine. The real problem is that this place hasn't moved on in 40 years or maybe more.
The place is tidy enough and the room was large and clean, hence the 3 stars.More
