Cheap and cheerful food from a good sized menu. They serve great beverages if you're not going there to eat. It is mainly a pub with a nightclub and on a Friday/Saturday night it is full of youngsters often the worse for wear! Best time to go is during the day/early evening or week nights. Sunday carvery is ok but served with aunt Bessie's roast potatoes.

Stayed here for two nights over a weekend.
Positives
The staff were really friendly and helpful, the service was excellent. Both food and bar.
Negatives
First night (Saturday) we found out that the bar that was attached to the hotel was open until 3am. The noise was ridiculous, there where benches outside which where occupied until 3am these where directly below the hotels rooms. So as you can imagine not a good night stay listening to people being drunk and being kicked out of the nightclub.

My colleague and I was visiting the West Somerset Railway on Thursday 22nd and decided to visit Wetherspoons ( I visit Spoons usually every other week in Birmingham) for lunch of mini fish and a pint . We ordered our Pint of Hop13 £3.29 ( £2.99 in Solihull) and then told that they have no Cod Fish available... Come on Spoons... we therefore went for a meal at The Cod Shop down the road.

Recently visited The Duke of Wellington during our stay at Butlins. The pub was busy but there were plenty of places to sit! There is plenty of choice on the menus for all ages and tastebuds. We ordered through the Weatherspoons app, it was quick and easy to order and pay. Food arrived promptly and was delicious. The premise itself is clean and easy to find in the town. We would visit again if staying in the area!
