This hotel was booked through the company's website, which along with all the facilities (on-site restaurant, etc), clearly stated parking.

However, a week after booking, I received an email to state that parking WASN'T included, and therefore needed to be paid seperately. This was a concern, as this was our first-time in the area, and we had no knowledge of the availability of parking, how secure it would be, or even of the additional cost.

In essence, parking was free between 6pm - 9am, but what that meant was a mad-dash to get parked at 6pm (otherwise, you had to take a chance on parking elsewhere), and needing to get-up early just to feed a meter.

A real shame, as we felt we had been mislead at the time of booking and making a non-refundable payment in full.

Room Tip: we stayed in 104, a good-sized room.

We got a cheap deal here £58 for 2 nights so was on on a winner straight away . Nice little hotel with central location and reasonably quiet , quite big rooms even for a family room . Food was ok and breakfast plentiful to keep you going for your day ahead . Car parking could be a problem expence wise if you were not using your car everyday . We used the car park opposite the hotel which was £5 for 6 hours but there was no charge from 6pm till 9pm the next day , as we were using our car daily for trips out and about it only cost £2.50 a day for us . All in all a good few days around east Yorkshire and a very clean good little hotel .

we chose this hotel because it was one of the cheapest we could find and I use premier inn when on business and am impressed. This one doesnt let them down, good quality, clean, comfy beds, helpful staff and great central location all helped to make the weekend very enjoyable.

We used this as base to look around scarborough, rooms (as ever with permier inn) were clean tidy fresh and modern. A bonus was the large windows and lovely view to the front aspect of the hotel. The staff on the reception desk were really aproachable with great local knowledge, they made us feel instantly welcome without a push for the auful self check in that seems to be creaping into a lot of the hotels now.

The hotel is literally a stones throw from the busy sea front and a pleasent drive from neighbouring Whitby. The only letdow here i would say is the lack of onsight parking, however this may not bother many people. There is a carpark on the opposite side of the road from the hotel which is fine for one or two nights but coud work out very expensive if needed for longer.
