The hotel is located in an excellent position, situated on the cliff opposite the South Cliff Gardens, which has a zigzag pathway down to the beach and is above the Spa theatre and the Sun Court Suite, which has featured in TV shows and the film "Dancing Queen".
The staff are very friendly and helpful, our room had a sea view and whilst not large it was perfectly adequate for two people and was very well presented, the bathroom lighting was a surprise and has a "Rain Shower" over the bath.
One very thoughtful idea is the special arrangement that is made for clients with a hearing, sight or mobility difficulty, is the provision of a special device to notify you of a fire alarm activation, available from reception, and a special tag to hang on the door to identify that a rooms occupants may need extra help.
The dining room is very comfortable and the food was excellent, the soup of the day comes with a novelty bread shaped in the form of a loaf and was excellent, we can recommend the Baked Hake on a Rissotto bed, which was very good value.
There is a free parking permit for parking on the road outside, or for a fee of £6 private parking, at the rear of the hotel, is available, you should book this when making a reservation.
