Took my nieces and nephews here in the holidays - I haven’t been in about 15 years. Everything is exactly the same as it was the last time I came as a child and it’s looking pretty tired now and tiles falling of if the building outside and everything inside is the same too

This pool is good for children and playing but not good for swimming.

It is a little run down in places, but better inside than it looks from the outside.

Overall it is okay for a nice family splash around

I still can believe they charged £5.40 per adult for off peak when everything was so poor. We knew that the slides were not in use during the day which is a shame but understandable as having more staff running it than customers is poor business sense. As we paid we were told that the smaller, childrens pool was off limits for lessons which was fine but they failed to mention that part of the main pool was taped off with hazard tape and so was one of the jacuzzis. I expected the place to look a little tired but was annoyed to fined it in such disrepair. It was nice to have free use of hairdryers by the mirrors but sadly this followed a cold shower that would start to warm up but go cold again and again. Bad enough for adults and definitely not suitable for children. Feeling the usual hunger following swimming we headed up to the cafe only to be told they weren't serving food.

I'd like to know how they justify charging such high rates for such terrible facilities.

Definitely won't be returning unless these issues are addressed.

It's such a shame as it could be something really special if property maintained.

Used to go swimming here as a child 20 years ago and thought it was fantastic. Went today with my husband and 4 year old, thought the price was very steep especially paying £6+ for an under 5! Hardly any family changing, changing rooms dated, dirty and toilets were filthy. Pool area hasn’t changed at all since I last went, with tiles missing along the walls. Wave machine is good and slides seem faster than I remembered.
When we were finishing getting changed my daughter caught her hand in the door, there was no stopper to prevent small fingers getting caught! Advised a member of staff, who wasn’t that bothered, despite our daughter being in hysterics! Overall it certainly isn’t worth the ridiculously expensive entrance fee, clearly they aren’t re-investing it in the pool! Certainly wouldn’t look at returning, surprised how it’s managed to stay in business so long

We visited today, got there for opening as we knew it would be busy. After buying our family ticket (£21.50p) we were then told that the showers are cold! We entered the pool and for the first 1/2 hour it was ok, after this the pool became very busy, the queue for the flumes were 1/2 way down the stairs so only went on these once. After 1 hour and being cold and fed of of being bumped into, we got out. There were lots of lifeguards on duty. The changing rooms seemed cleaned but the cubicals are quite small. Overall it was a ok visit, not as good as it used to be, shame we had to come home and shower! We felt their were too many people in the pool
