“Excellent cottage”
Reviewed 30 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Edith Cottage is perfectly situated very near to the town centre and close to King's College for the cricket festival. The cottage is immaculate with everything provided. The owner, Julie, made us very welcome. I would recommend this cottage.

“Excellent, well presented”

A great cottage to base our holiday exploring Somerset. A warm welcome by Julie the owner on arrival which included a very tasty cream tea, and information on local attractions and facilities. A short walk into Taunton.

“Charming cottage, perfect holiday.”
Reviewed 1 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

This lovely, well equipped cottage was just perfect for us. The town centre was only 5 minutes walk away with many varied shops, & following the heritage trail helped us get to know Taunton better. The town park was within walking distance & had several activities available including a really good children's play section (spades are useful for the large sand & water play area). We also enjoyed a ride on a steam train, a day at the seaside, walks in the country & picnics in the cottage garden. Recommended.

We would highly recommend this cottage. The location was great to wander into town. The cottage was lovely, perfect for a family of 4 and well-equipped.

“Excellent”

Edith Cottage is an ideal place to stay. Situated in the centre of Taunton. Just off the Main Street. The Cottage itself is perfect, spotlessly clean and everything you could need for a stay there. Julie ( the owner) met us at the Cottage and left a lovey cake which was ideal as we had been travelling for 4 hours on a train. Nice touches like shower gel and creams in the bathroom, towels supplied too. The kitchen was well equipped tea bags, sugar, iron and ironing board. There is a Tesco express nearby too. Another good thing there is a downstairs toilet which was handy for the four of us getting ready for a wedding so no crossed legs!!! I would definitely stop there again beats expensive hotels. A home from home.
