The other reviewers must have stayed in a different room to ours - we stayed in the Quantock Room. Apparently 'ensuite' which bascially meant a toilet and a shower attached to the wall meaning everything in the bathroom was soaked. We had to bath our baby in the sink. The farm is hundreds of years old and we found it dreary and dark even in summer. No where to sit outside and the furniture and decor was old. For the cost we paid for the night it wasn't good. Another example of a web site that looks good but doesn't reflect where you're staying. If you're en-route do yourself a favour and book a travel lodge.

We stayed here for 2 nights while attending a friends wedding in a local village, and really enjoyed our stay. We were made to feel so welcome, and our hosts were very accommodating about our rather delayed arrival! I was heavily pregnant at the time, and looking for a comfy bed and tasty breakfast and got both of those in generous doses...

We had a very big, comfortable room, and our own bathroom just off the landing. A very atmospheric and charming farmhouse. The breakfasts were just lovely, particularly the fresh eggs which I tried boiled and were absolutely scrummy. We were sad to leave, and would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Really enjoyed our 2-night stay here. Massive room with double bed, 2 singles, a cot and still had plenty of space. Colin and Lin could not have been more welcoming and we loved how happy they were to have a baby around. It might not have all the latest mod cons, but it's spotlessly clean (no mean feat with so many ancient nooks and crannies), offers an excellent breakfast, generous happy hosts and you really feel as if you are staying in someone's home - it's got soul.
The only downside is the thrum of noise from the M5, which could be a let down if you are expecting a tranquil rural idyll.
