En route back from visiting friends in Dorset, we decided to stop off in Poole for the day. We had visited before and decided to head back to The Angel after we tried it previously.
We were welcomed by warm staff as per last time.
Since we had last been the menu had been changed.
We have very fussy children who wont eat anything if it is touching on the plate and the staff were fantastic with them - the kids had a great time!
The food was fantastic, service was friendly and I would recommend giving it a try.

I'm not complaining about time we waited for the food as we witnessed that the place got really busy drink wise out of the blue due to weddings next door. There is silent rule in the hospitality industry kids served first and for a god sake not on the hot plate!(children dont like to wait for their chips 50 minutes!) The main problem about the food was the basic as we did end up with giant unseasoned tasteless meatball(burger patty!?) each in our burger bap. Not going to criticize chef but as he dose use his phone at work so he can go on youtube and find out the way how to made and cook the burger!

First time we have tried Sunday Lunch at the Angel and we weren't disappointed. Paul was behind the bar and service was as good as ever. Lovely roast beef with a huge Yorkshire pudding. Excellent deal on a bottle of Prosecco always goes down well with the ladies.
