I don't understand why people write scathing reviews about this hotel, yes it's run down, yes the carpets are a mess and yes there's plenty to moan about (if it was a five star hotel) but its not a five star luxurious hotel, it's for people on a low budget and it was exactly what I expected for a beach front stay in lanndudno for £49
The double room was surprisingly nice with a modern clean bathroom and a nice comfy bed and the breakfast was a well cooked full english. Sold! If you want a better hotel then put your hand in your pocket and go pay for one but at this low price don't expect the Ritz. It was perfect for a short cheap visit to Llandudno.

This is a horrid hotel over all... it was like staying in a derelict building... awful place, no lift, radiator hanging off wall.. receptionist who checked us in was abrupt.. it’s a great shame as hotel in great location on Main Street...

When I read the reviews prior to coming I was not expecting much at all, yes the stairs and corridors are in need of a huge refurb but we don’t sleep in them do we?
When we opened the door to the room we were pleasantly surprised, Seaview was stunning and the windows opened up so we could see hear and smell the seaside! The bed was hard however so it was a struggle to get comfy but our sleep wasn’t at all terrible. The bathroom was nice too and adequate for our stay
Breakfast albeit busy and rather warm in the breakfast room was nice, with fresh juices toast and cereal available in vast quantity and a nice full English available too for the price we paid for the room it was good value and kept up full past lunch time
We will be back!

Stayed here for one night and had a lovely stay. Very friendly staff and very helpful. Ok yes certain parts of the hotel needs a lick of paint, but our room was lovely. We had a sea view room (102) . Very clean and a lovely big bed. Wonderful views over the bay and close to the town and pier. Yes I would stay here again. Thank you.

Room Tip: Sea view room a must
