I discovered the Radisson to Expedia -my main reasons for choosing it included the relatively cheap price and the global reputation of the hotel brand.

The location is not as central as we had suspected (there is a tube station - a 5 mins walk away) and a bus stop outside (perfect for getting to and from the airport).
The journey into central Oslo ranged from 20-30 minutes, whilst a taxi ride would have been preferable - it is very pricey!

The hotel itself was fairly pleasant. The rooms were clean and the reception staff were very friendly.
Breakfast is included and provides a range of cold and hot foods with freshly pressed juices and smoothies.

The hotel includes a restaurant - which I would strongly recommend- the fish and chips (although, a very basic dish, were exquisite!)

The hotel is quite far away from both the airport and the city centre. Good part is you can get a flybus to the airport and a metro to the city centre.

The breakfast was ok. Rooms are average. They did not refill the tea/coffee for us! Bring your own drinking water - because they don't give that either. I wouldn't stay here on my next visit.

The wifi keeps switching on and off.

This is not a reflection on the particular hotel, but ALL Radisson Blu hotels in Oslo. The following applies to all of them:
- Average rooms, Hotel is Alna is slightly newer than the other ones
- Internet speed is ok, except in the Scandinavia Holberg where it is attrocious
- Breakfast is really bad in all of them (no fruit yoghurt, no fried eggs, no baked beans, no porridge)
- Gym in Radisson Blu Plaza - is very dated and is missing a lot of equipment, i.e. no free weights, no weight machine, only 1 treadmill and 1 bike plus it is not very easy to get to

Room Tip: High floors in Plaza and Scandinavia, room away from the motorway and service station in Radisson Alna
