We really enjoyed this hotel. It was kind of hard for us to find from the airport but we got used to taking the subway from central station to the stop across the street within a day. B/c it is a bit from the city center, it was quiet. The park beside the hotel had a great running path. We took the subway each day to our destinations. The breakfast was fantastic. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We'd stay again if in Norway for sure! Get the Oslo pass! Quick tip: take the train from the airport to the central Oslo station; take the subway from the lower level of the station to the Nydalen station; the hotel is across the street from the subway entrance with that has flashing colors on the escalator.

A wonderful - business orientated - hotel right next to the T (metro) station Nydalen, approx 10 mins from the Oslo city center. The hotel is situated right next to a shopping center with a supermarket and various restaurants. The hotel breakfast is perfect. On the buffet is a great variety, like smoked salmon, fresh fruits, yoghurts, various types of bread, eggs, a.s.o. For our 3 nights stay we were very surprised and pleased with an upgrade to a business room. This type of room is very spacious with extras like a bathrobe, slippers, a Nespresso Coffee Maker, newspaper (in Norwegian, lol...). All is clean. The staff is kind and friendly. After the 2nd night, housekeeping had forgotten to make up our room which we've found out after returning from sight seeing Oslo. With one phone call the room has been cleaned while having our dinner. This hotel is a very good 4* haven outside the busy city center of Olso.

Radisson Blu Nydalen was the best hotel in our European trip in the summer of 2011. First it seemed very expensive compared to prices in the US or Greece, but turned out well worth it. The building is situated in a complex which includes a subway station (10 min to center) and a supermarket downstairs. So if you don’t want to pay crazy prices for food in town, you can prepare your own sandwiches, etc. It stands by the river with waterfalls, with nice walkway along its banks. The real distinction of this hotel is its buffet breakfast, which consists of 20 or more items, many of them unusual. First you slice your own bread, many varieties of it – multigrain and very tasty. Do not jump to jams, as you will later find eggs, sausage, grilled mushrooms, smoked salmon, herring, ham, salami, cheeses, fruit salad, gourmet yogurt and more. As Norway’s prices go, breakfast like this would cost us $20 each, times 3 equals $60. This makes the price of the room quite low. Stay away from the cheaper downtown hotels and hostels as they look old, run down and are only slightly cheaper than the Radisson. The Radisson was clean and comfortable. However, those accustomed to two queen or double beds in the US will be surprised in Europe. The beds are narrow, so they brought in a folding bed for our son. It was not comfortable, but they did not charge extra for it. Overall – nice experience.

Stayed two nights on 21st and 22nd July 2011.
The hotel was booked at the last minute on 20 the July at 11 30 PM and they have given us wonderful accomodation . Very good hospitality and grand free break-fast . Situated at the Nydalsveien Metro and nearer to bus stops of Route no., 30 and 37 for city center, the hotel is a grand one at the costly Oslo city with a moderate room cost. The room curtain of special colourful design and really pleasant looking . The coffee maker with free coffe and tea facility .Free Room Wi Fi coneection good. As usual refrigerator and TV with very limited channels Tidy clean Rooms ,tilets and passages. Very good launge. The international airport Oslo Lufthavn Gardermoen bus stop also near by 500meters away from this hotel and so we can drop in and take bus from/ for International Airport . Very Covenient. Calm ,nice ,pollution free Hotel, very thinly populated silent atmosphere for taking rest and go for a walk in the morning. Shoping centre, metro, super market and other facilitieslike restaurent quite adjasant to the Hotel. We can either either catch the Metro or the bus for going to the city center . and then catch Hop On Hop Off bus for sight seeing. Pleasant stay at Nydalen RaddisoBlu Hotel.
Safe Hotel even when we were there when the bom blast took place on 22 nd of July when we were there at Oslo.
