Owner description: Unique acoustics in baroque ambience, rousing sounds on period instruments united with the beauty and power of great music. An insider's tip in the city of art and culture, which ensures an exceptional evening to all music lovers and represents one of the highlights during a Vienna visit. The St. Anne Church is a historical proof of the beauty and playfulness of the Baroque. It provides a magnificent and authentic atmosphere and lends the concert a high-quality and refined setting. Thereby, the music achieves exceptional quality that leads the audience to dreamy listening. Our musicians acquired their art skills at some of the best-known music academies in Europe and play in concerts with renowned Viennese orchestras. Do not miss an attendance, because selected works by Mozart, Schubert, Beethoven and other composers who have lived and worked in Vienna are best interpreted in our cycle of concerts. The classical concerts are presented in the form of string quartets and include specific pieces of chamber music - in this context we present on selected days Franz Schubert's greatest work of chamber music "Death and the Maiden" on historical instruments, which we highly recommend.

We heard the AEon Quartet performing Mozart and Hayden.
The church itself is gorgeous and we had several interactions with the friendly staff. The musicians played enthusiastically and seemed to be there for the love of the music. They eagerly played an encore. The small downside was the very uncomfortable seats.

St. Anne's is one of the churches around the Historic Centre of Vienna that offers evening concerts for interested visitors. We attended their regular Mozart & Beethoven concert (€29 per person) and very much enjoyed the performance.

Acoustics are quite good in the small church and your eyes certainly have plenty to enjoy when it comes to the beautiful Baroque interior of this venue. In addition to the fine quality of play, we very much enjoyed viewing the ornately decorated throughout the hour long concert.

Note: Tickets can be purchased online if you want to ensure you are able to attend concert on particular evenings. Otherwise, you may be able to secure tickets after arriving in Vienna as well.

Note: Entrance is half an hour before performance time. Seating in the small hall is on a first-come, first-serve basis so best to arrive early if you want seat nearer to the front.

This church is quite hidden in central Vienna and the exterior is kind of invisible to me. However, the interior is gorgeous and it's perfect for a classical musical. Although this venue is small, you'll still be able to grab a seat if you've purchased the ticket in advance. This could be the shortest and cheapest musical concert in Vienna which it's definitely good for someone who just wants to experience it for the very first time. And you're allowed to take pictures without flash during the concert. Make sure to get here earlier so that you could possible find the best seat and have enough time to visit this small church before it starts.

A lovely string quartet performed Mozart and Beethoven in this beautiful church. The concert lasted an hour, the seats were on a first come first served basis. It was a perfect venue. The group who played last Thursday were excellent. Glad we were able to get tickets - which were bought via trip advisor, a very simple system. The venue just needed to see the booking on my phone, no printing needed.

We were looking for a concert to experience in Vienna that was short and inexpensive. Our hotel kept pushing us to attend more expensive concerts that would have taken up the entire evening. But, this one was exactly what we were looking for (short, sweet, right in central Vienna, and reasonably priced) while also providing a gorgeous location and stunning musicians. We arrived about half an hour early and enjoyed just sitting and soaking up the ambiance. It was a highlight of our trip to Vienna to experience such beautiful music in a classic, serene space.
