We stayed here because it fit our budget, included a free breakfast and there was a U-Bahn station close by.
We like the hotel. It was nicely kept up. Rooms were nice size and clean. Free breakfast was quite extensive and a great way to start the day.
The only thing I didn't care for was there weren't many restaurants around within walking distance. It wasn't in that great of a section of town, although we never felt threatened while walking around. The area was just a little run down and more residential that we were expecting.
That being said, we could jump on the U-Bahn and get anywhere very quickly - so it served our purposes well.
We took the U-Bahn from the main train station to the hotel and got quite turned around. We weren't sure which exit to take out of the station (there are 5 of them) and took the one in the complete opposite direction. Good thing we had GPS on our phones or we would've been lost for a while. Make sure you know where you are going. Take the HeinestraBe exit out of the Praterstern U-Bahn station and you'll be much closer to the hotel.More
