Our booking was made with HHonors points.
At check-in, I was disappointed about the lack of recognition and only after I challenged the check-in staff was I told that we would not be given access to the lounge. i was offered the use of the lounge at a ridiculous rate.
Our room (Plaza) was of good size but it looked somewhat empty and for my taste there was not enough light.
The bathroom was of good size with a large shower.
What struck me at this property was the particularly poor housekeeping service. things were either not cleaned (e.g. the empty nut container remained there for several days, used glasses were not cleaned and cleared away) and amenities in the bathroom were not replenished. Also, I would expect a hotel of this caliber to offer a turndown service.
Turning to the breakfast buffet, spread was good although the place seemed very chaotic at times.
What we liked about the Hilton Vienna Plaza was the location (comfortable walking distance to Stephansdom and the pedestrian area).More
