Great hotel in an ideal location to explore Innsbruck, easy walking distance from train station and a five minute taxi ride to the airport. Our room was spotless and spacious, romantic room decoration and bubbly made our stay extra special. Only negative was that we left in a rush due to train departure time change and left a couple of minor items, contacted same day and they weren't found in the room. Oh well, certainly didn't spoil our time in Innsbruck and would definitely stay here again!

Dear guest,

we thank you for your feedback. Great that you love our location and the hotel. We are so sorry about the inconveniences with the lavabo. We ensure you that it was no intention that the receptionist but down the phone, but during check-in time it sometimes take a few seconds to answer the phone.
Our staff is very kind, helpful and works for us for years. They are trained well and know our historical house inside out. Please be sure that the hapiness of our guests is our highest purpose and we work hard for it.
We hope for your understanding.

Kind regards,
your family Ultsch

I liked this place a lot. Staff was very helpful. Friendly bar downstairs. Tasty breakfast with a large variety of fresh and prepared options. Smoked Salmon with various sauces was my favorite. Interesting layout to the rooms. Dripping history. I felt very comfortable there, would liked to have stayed longer. Wide range of ages, younger couples, older folks, middle aged, young families, a good mix. I was on business, not a business hotel, but enjoyed much more than a business hotel even though.

We stayed here Sept. 12,13,14, 2015. Room number 308. Very clean, and comfortable! Loved the central location! The staff was very friendly and helpful! If staying any length of time, and they recommend the Innsbruck Card, get it. It is a great investment. Will pay for itself after the first couple of attractions you visit! The bed was comfortable, and our room was plenty spacious. We loved the history of the hotel itself! We would stay here again!

Like many reviewers, our first room was small, very noisy at night (e.g., young people partying under our second floor room at 3 AM), and with poor AC. We desperately asked for a quiet room and with persistence, we were moved to one with a view of the fire escape at the back of the hotel with a pretty terrace below and it was wonderfully quiet. You could open the windows to cool off the room at night which was a blessing. The bathrooms in both rooms were very nice. The breakfast room was delightful and the food quite adequate. My only remaining complaint was that in spite of the international reputation of Innsbruck, there were no English TV channels--only German. Note that the furniture is well worn and the walls need painting.

Room Tip: Do not accept room 204. Ask for room 310 if you want a quiet room.

Dear Guest,

thank you for your stay in our hotel and your feedback!
Unfortunately the hotel is situated in the city, so we can not control all noises. But in this case you just give us the information when you book, so we can guarantee to give you the quite room. We know that there is no English tv, this is unfortunately the price of a landmarked building, we try our best to get all technical settings!

With kind regards
your family Ultsch & team!
