This lovely Hotel clicks all the boxes.....Sylvia and staff were very nice and Hotel had every thing we wanted. Nice and warm great wifi connections. We were here for a celebrations but we like to sleep long in morning so did not have breakfast....would recommend this lovely place to anyone......I also work in the tourism industry and know what to look out out for....great experience in my favorite City. Austrian people are great. Best wishes from Irlande.

easy for a stop-over-meeting-or rest lunch or dinner - exit Salzburg mitte and you are not really in the otherwise awful traffic of Salzburg - you can enjoy Austrian excellent food there in cozy traditional atmosphere

Going to Salzburg as part of a european tour we found this hotel. And we just has to go along with the other reviews.

The hotel is located in a calm and quiet location. Easy to find and access from freeway. Parking in front + a big lot next door.

Check-in quick, very friendly and helpful staff. We were planning to drive into town, but were told that the bus runs literally 5 minutes away. 2.60 Euros pr person and 10 minutes to Salzburg downtown.

Rooms were spacy and clean.Very quiet, no noise. Nice A/C working good. Big bathroom, nice towels. Beds were very good, pillows firm. Only comment is that the blinds are a little short, so we woke up a little early from the sun. OK - more time outside.

Breakfast was also very good. Good coffee!!

In short - a very good hotel. This is a hotel to come back to.

So happy I decided to stay here. Spent 3 nights in Salzburg during high heat. Quiet residential neighborhood away from tourist filled Old Town was welcomed at end of day. Air conditioning worked well (I don't think all rooms have it; ask). Triple room was generously sized for 3 of us women with 1 large and 4 small pieces of luggage. Bathroom also large enough to stand 2 at mirror. Beds were very comfortable. Interior of hotel very nicely finished. Charming old-style dining rooms and spacious beer garden for pleasant evening dinners. Super easy bus ride (stop is less than 5 minute walk) straight to Old Town takes at most 20 minutes. Loved the traditional breakfast spread.

We visited this guesthouse during our road trip to Austria in August. I think that the season we visited that hotel has a part to play in this review. The hotel is not offering an air-conditioning so during a hot August day, staying in the room could be unbearable. There was a fan available, but it could not do much...Furthermore our room was just above the restaurant, so when we opened the window to get some fresh air, noise and cigarette smoke from the restaurant yard came into the room - not pleasant at all... Luckily the next days were rainy and colder, so we did not have to open the window...
The room was basic, not very spacious, no refrigerator, but clean, affordable with free parking. Breakfast was OK and the staff somewhat arrogant.
I would also advice you to get the Salzburg card from the reception, because you will need a lot of commuting by bus during your stay there!

Room Tip: Avoid rooms above the restaurant yard.
