The Mirabell Palace and Garden located at the counter part of the river side of the old market area. In accordance of the meaning of "Mirabell", the garden offers a pleasant view to the visitors. After a few renovations/redesigns, the garden has 19th century features today. The garden is also well-known by hosting the Movie of "Sound of Music". You can have some flashbacks about the Movie especially when you will walk around the Pegasus Fountain.

We did not have time to go in and visit the inside of the Palace, but we did walk through the Gardens. It is beautiful. It was colorful, and laid out nicely. Enjoyed the walk through

So beautiful!! This is where the iconic scene around the fountain was filmed in The Sound of Music. It was also where the Do-Re-Me song down the steps in The Sound of Music was filmed. Just a beautiful place to rest and relax.
